The Lebrón Smash and When To Use This Killer Move
There are two types of smashes first is one you hit fairly close to the glass and the other one is with a shorter bounce. These are two different techniques that will help you win the match if you know how and when to properly use it.
The first one has a short bounce but has a second bounce high on the glass. While the other kind of smash has a deep bounce and is aimed right at the glass.
One thing that people commonly miss is that these types of smashes depend on where you are in the padel court
For instance, if you’re near the net, aim towards the service box and let the ball hit the backglass at a high angle. Remember this is a smash so let it out with everything you’ve got!
Chances are if you hit the short angle and you’re far from the net, this gives your opponent more time to block your smash. So be careful with that.
So what’s the best move if you’re positioned far from the net?
Follow what player Lebron does with his signature smash and aim your attack close to the glass.
Now the next thing you should be able to quickly determine if a ball is hurling towards you in lightning speed is how you should react
Is it worth blocking the smash or do you brace for impact and run towards the edges? This all depends on your position on the court.
Smash the ball deep right before the glass if you’re in a position really far from the net. This makes it hard for your opponent to defend against your smash.

Eventually, every padel player encounters a heavy hitter – a player who hits the ball a lot.
At the net, there is sometimes little time to react and put yourself in a position to play an effective volley because of big hitters.
