Because of the pandemic, there isn’t much going on in sports, no matter what you’re interested in. Even the teams who are competing are playing in front of minimal crowds.
It’s not the same as being able to go to a game and spend the whole day there, making it an event. Thankfully, there are methods to keep yourself and others safe while still getting your sports to fix under lockdown.

One thing this pandemic has taught all of us is that going outside and being active was a luxury we all took for granted
I mean who would’ve seen the pandemic coming right? No one was prepared for the isolation that changed our way of life up until now.
Being physically active is essential to individuals – possibly now more than ever. Overall, activity levels have remained consistent throughout, and many individuals have chosen to be active in any manner they can.
Feelings and motives have fluctuated but stabilized, and for many, the virus has served as a harsh reminder of the absolute pleasure and advantages of staying active.
As sports were suspended and clubs and facilities closed their doors, the lockdown provided a chance (although an unwelcome one) to try new activities and develop new habits and experiences.
A lot of us found solace in walking, running, and cycling and wanted to continue these activities when the lockdown was lifted.
But let’s be honest, we’re all waiting for things to go back to normal
Although we may never go back to the way things were before, there’s hope in the “new” normal. Hopefully the spread of the virus and the mortality rates start to fall globally so that we can all enjoy all the fun activities and community events we enjoyed before.
The whole population has been impacted, although not in the same way
Gender, wealth, ethnicity, handicap, and age all have a significant influence on a person’s chance of being active, and the demographic categories and audiences we were targeting before the epidemic are still finding it challenging to be involved.
According to our poll, females and persons with long-term diseases are less likely to enjoy solo exercise and are also more likely to be concerned about leaving their homes to exercise. Females value being active during the epidemic more than men, although they are more likely to feel disturbed their exercise routines .
Those over 55, those with a long-term ailment, and those from lower socioeconomic categories are less likely to report they’ve discovered new methods to be active during the lockdown, and they’re less likely to exercise to improve their physical health. Furthermore, these groups believe they are less capable of being active, find it less fun, and place less value on regular exercise.
Thankfully, some countries have loosened up their regulations on sports events including padel. This is great news for our community and we’re getting closer and closer to “new” normal games. As for now, let’s enjoy the performances of our beloved idols in WPT in this year’s fiery fight to the padel top!
