
Padel World Domination– UAE Launches First National Padel Tournament
Something good is cooking in Dubai and we love to see it! From September 5th to September 22nd, 2021, six of the most prominent padel clubs in the United Arab Emirates will hold the country’s first National Padel Tournament.
The participating clubs are Padel Point, Let’s Padel Academy, The Alley, Padel Corner, Padel Space, and Padel Beach RAK. Each of these six clubs has a location in a different part of the country,, where they will host matches at various stages of the tournament. These include the qualifying rounds, the round of 16, as well as the quarters and semi-finals.

The qualifying rounds will take place between Sunday, September 5th, and Thursday, September 9th, 2021.
Action will begin on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Padel Point in Sharjah, with the finals set to take place on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the exact location.
According to Khalid Al Shamsi, Founder and CEO of Padel Point, the main goal of the Nationals Padel Tournament is to promote padel as the preferred racquet sport in the United Arab Emirates while simultaneously being the preferred racquet sport developing a solid community of players and spectators.
In a competitive but collaborative atmosphere, the event provides a chance for individual aficionados and lovers of the sport to interact and mingle with one another.

The Nationals Padel Tournament, which Matchspot is organizing, is one of several tournaments taking place across the country due to the UAE Padel Association’s (UAEPA) announcement of a new annual tournament structure aimed at strengthening the sport in the country.

Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the UAEPA ensures this new structure will launch padel tennis in the right direction. The organization aims to establish a unified and common goal towards playing windows, which is expected to boost the game, particularly at the grassroots level.
The new competition structure encourages a regular string of tournaments with the participation of clubs and local athletes, underscoring the organization’s commitment to increasing competition, commercial, and fan engagement opportunities while raising the competitiveness of padel tennis on the road to an expanded seasonal calendar on the way to an expanded seasonal calendar.
Simple, The Padelers, Absolute Zero, and Padel It are the sponsors of the Nationals Padel Tournament in Las Vegas. The winners will get a trophy as well as AED 5,000 in cash as rewards. Medals and AED 2,500 in cash will be awarded to the runners-up.
